On Monday, Station 49 responded to a one-alarm fire in an industrial fire on Plainsboro Road. A small fire was possibly started by roofing work taking place. Ladder 49, Engine 49 and Tower 49 responded along with an engine from Kingston and a truck company from Princeton Junction and Tower 57 from Monroe as the RIT. Stations 41 and 42 covered Plainsboro. Plainsboro Township EMS, Cranbury EMS and Princeton EMS with their rehab unit also responded due to the high temperature. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Middlesex County Fire Marshall’s Office.
