ENGINE, CHIEF, & DEPUTY CHIEF 49 TO PRINCETON JUNCTION FOR AN APARTMENT BUILDING FIRE

REMARKS:  multiple callers stating there is fire showing from the building and it is in the process of being evacuated.
On Thursday, May 3rd at approximately 11:45pm, Station 49 was detailed to assist Princeton Junction Station 44 with a working apartment building fire.
Chief 44 (David Terzian) had heavy fire coming out of the 3rd floor and pushing into the attic. Engine 44 and Emergency Services 45 stretched to the 3rd floor and made an aggressive interior attack.
Crews from station 43, 49, and 60 stretched a 2.5” to back up initial crews and immediately began pulling ceilings to knock the fire in the attic. During this course of action, Truck 44 did some aggressive truck work and opened up the roof above the fire apartment and made an additional cut at the roof’s peak.
Chief 44 had command, Chief 49 had Operations, Deputy 49 had division 3, Deputy 43 had Safety/ Accountability.
