Tanker 49 responded mutual aid into Millstone Township today to cover Station 32-1 while they operated at a multiple-alarm fire in Wall. While on the cover, the tanker and Jackson Mills took in a fire alarm.
Station 49 responded to a one-alarm fire this afternoon at Building 2, Pheasant Hollow Drive in the Addison apartment complex.
At the time of the alarm, Plainsboro, Station 43 (West Windsor Fire Company) and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service were operating at an “all hands” brush fire off of Scudders Mill road in the vicinity of Novo Nordisk.
The bulk of the fire damage was confined to one apartment and there was light damage to three or four other units.
The Plainsboro Township Police and Plainsboro Rescue Squad responded along with the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad. Mutual aid fire companies responding to the scene included the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab, West Windsor, Monroe Township District 2, Cranbury, Hightstown, Princeton and Kendall Park. East Windsor #1 and Monmouth Junction covered our station during the fire.
Station 49 responded to a two-alarm structure fire at 511 Plainsboro Road early Wednesday morning. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Tower 49 responded mutual aid into Cranbury this morning on the report of a smoke condition and odor of burning in the lobby of a Route 130 hotel. The problem was traced to a defective heating unit. It capped a busy night for Plainsboro Fire with calls to West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North at 0150 and 0441 for an apparent alarm malfunction and the Cranbury call at 0529,
