Here Comes Santa Claus: Firefighters to Escort St. Nick through Plainsboro on Friday and Saturday
Annual Early Visit Scheduled for December 15 and 16
PLAINSBORO – Santa Claus is coming to township neighborhoods for an early visit once again this year with a fire escort to help him on his way. The Plainsboro Fire Company’s annual “Santa Ride” will take place Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16. Rain date will be Sunday, December 17 and adjusted times will be posted on www.plainsborofire.com. “We’ll be making a scheduled stop in each Plainsboro neighborhood,” said Chief Brian Wagner of the Plainsboro Fire Company. “That allows us to bring Santa Claus to each development and cover the entire township.” Santa’s itinerary has stops in 24 neighborhoods. The schedule with approximate times for each stop can be accessed at www.plainsborofire.com. Signs will also be posted at each stop. Because the scheduled stop times are approximate, Chief Wagner recommends residents arrive at the stop early and be prepared for a possible late arrival. In the event inclement weather or a major emergency causes a postponement, changes will also be posted at www.plainsborofire.com.
